Cemetery

Serving Our Local Communities

Stambaugh Cemetery is a community cemetery serving Stambaugh Township, the City of Caspian, the City of Gaastra, and residents of the former City of Stambaugh.

The cemetery is operated through the Stambaugh Cemetery Association, which is governed by a board consisting of representatives from the participating municipalities.

A Historic Community Cemetery

The first burial at Stambaugh Cemetery took place in July 1904. For more than a century, the cemetery has served families throughout the surrounding communities and remains an important part of the area's history and heritage.

Due to the cemetery's long history, available burial space is limited. Residents seeking information about available lots, pricing, or cemetery services are encouraged to contact the cemetery manager or sexton directly.
